Present conditioning as a prerequisite for athletes to perform at their best
Know components of physical fitness
Plan variety of conditioning programs that demonstrate knowledge of physiological responses
Allow for adequate recovery time to avoid overtraining
Avoid training/conditioning that are potentially harmful
Assist athletes in regulating hydration/nutrition
Obtain research based info about supplements and potential impact on health
Make clear to all athletes the established negative consequences of using banned substance
Require written permission from medical pro to allow injured allowed to participate
Maintain contact with physicians/parents of injured athletes
