The purpose of Youth Football Coaches Association Coaching Certification is to verify that the volunteers in your league have the proper techniques and fundamentals for instructing youth players. 

Once a coach has passed the test by 80% they are given a certificate and membership card into Youth Football Coaches Association Certification.

The questions are based on the National High School Federation Football Rules along with content found on YFBCA.org and within the YFBCA Cert Prep Outline.

A coach is welcome to re-test as many times as needed to achieve the 80% at no additional costs.

YFBCA also heavily recommends that each coach become certified in the American Red Cross Sports Safety Course to complement the Youth Football Coaching Certification.
